- Rare version with wing-mounted oil filler
- Original engine and colours
- Superb condition, sold new in Italy

This car was sold new in February 1972 through an Italian dealership. It was finished in 'Melanzana' (aubergine; code 4040), with upholstery in beige leatherette (code 31), as is specified in a certificate issued by Porsche Italy. The certificate also notes that the car was fitted with optional Koni shock absorbers and that it still has its original engine.
Its current owner, a Porsche collector from Modena, acquired the car in 2012. It had been very well preserved but had been repainted in white during the 1990s. In order to return it to its original finish, the car was given a full bare-metal respray by the Carrozzeria San Lazzaro in Modena, with the bill amounting to 5490 €. At the same time, the interior was retrimmed by Ferraresi, a workshop in Ferrara, for 8126 €. Finally, the engine was overhauled by the Rennsport garage in Reggio Emilia, for 12,200 €. Thanks to the work carried out by these renowned Italian specialists, this Porsche 2.4-litre 'S' now looks magnificent in its original colours. The file which comes with the car includes photographs of the restoration work, several invoices, an owner's manual ('uso e manutenzione') and a certificate from Porsche Italy.
This car is particularly interesting in that, as well as having its original colours and 2.4-litre engine, it is a rare version with the oil filler mounted on the rear wing. These are all features which enthusiasts will especially appreciate.
