To improve a Porsche 911 is a tough job. Not many car companies can, but Singer pulls it off every time it touches one of the iconic, rear-engined marvels. This 911 Targa is its latest miracle work and, this time, Singer went above and beyond what it has achieved so far. “It's basically a faithful rendition of the work that we do on the coupés,” says Singer founder Rob Dickinson. “The Targa presents us with new challenges, but also an opportunity to add our jewellery to the car.”

Jason Wenig, the founder of The Creative Workshop, started his career in advertising and marketing in New York. So how did he end up in Florida, running one of the best classic car restoration companies on the planet? “In a bizarre twist of fate, I was brought into a dot-com start-up in the car business by my friends. Our company fell apart, but at least it got me involved professionally in cars for the first time,” he recalls.

When we think about it, the 3 Wheeler is an ideal candidate to be ‘electrified’. At just 450kg, the electric 3 Wheeler is even lighter than its combustion-engined counterpart, and with a single 75kW electric motor (delivering circa 100bhp to the rear wheel), its range is apparently in the region of 150 miles – that's rather impressive. We’d be lying if we said we wouldn’t miss that rorty V-twin, though. Now, where are our goggles?
