Clothed in a wildly different array of body styles by the likes of Chapron, De Villars, Figoni, Saoutchik, and Franay, the D8 was the preserve of the rich and famous and as exotic as they came. 

Ever since its release last year, the 720S has split opinion perhaps more than any of McLaren Automotive’s accomplished supercars. Having spent a day with the car on its press launch in Rome as well as some time with its lead designer Paul Howse, we were won over.

With the increasing desire for back-to-basics driving, however, we can’t imagine prices will remain where they are for too much longer.
