The Ferrari Daytona we are offering here is chassis 13439. Its original specifications were Bianco Polo with black leather interior. 39 cars of the 1284 examples produced were originally delivered in this colour, of which less than 10 were built for the perspex covered headlight series.
13439 was delivered new by the factory to official Ferrari dealer Crepaldi Automobili S.a.s of Milan on June 1970, and on the 17th of that month, it was delivered to its first owner Antonio Berlusconi. The car was registered MIL 05543 on that same day and still carries the same registration up to to now along with its original Italian black plates, which is exceptionally rare to run across.
Berlusconi, already very aged at the time of his ownership (he was born in 1891), sold the car to second owner Pierfranco Sironi of Milan in 1983. As of 1998, 13439 passed on to Garage Venezia of Mario Ruoso who kept the car for another 10 years before it was acquired by its current owner. The car has undergone since then a thorough and extensive mechanical service by one of the leading Ferrari experts in Europe, which also included a full undercarriage recommissioning.
In addition of being mechanically very well sorted and showing a 19,750 km on the clock, this example would certainly deserve to be repainted back to its original Bianco Polo colour, making it undoubtedly a very special car to own.
