Bugatti’s design director creates artwork for SOC x Classic Driver Andermatt 2026

Exclusively for the SOC x Classic Driver Andermatt road rally, taking place from 26–28 June 2026, Bugatti’s Design Director, Frank Heyl, has created an artwork that elegantly captures the joy of alpine driving.

With just two weeks to go until the SOC x Classic Driver Andermatt concours and road rally kicks off in the heart of the Swiss Alps, anticipation is building. Designed as an exclusive community experience, the event will offer guests the rare opportunity to drive their classic cars and modern supercars across the Furka and Oberalp passes — both closed exclusively for the rally — before descending towards Ambri Airport in Ticino. Along the way, participants will enjoy a bespoke programme of gourmet dining and entertainment at The Chedi Andermatt.

A few weeks ago, we announced that Bugatti would join SOC x Classic Driver Andermatt as the official event patron and focus brand, marking the 20th anniversary of the Bugatti Veyron with an extraordinary display of classic and contemporary Bugatti unicorns. As part of this collaboration, Frank Heyl has created a striking artwork that elegantly conveys the thrill of alpine hairpin hunting from behind the wheel of a Veyron. The piece subtly hints at what promises to be one of the highlights of the weekend, when participants ascend the Furka Pass on Saturday morning.

While the event is nearly sold out, a limited number of VIP places remain available. If you would like to join the SOC x Classic Driver Andermatt with your classic car or modern supercar, we encourage you to submit your application via email today.
