Twenty years ago, you could have stood on a lawn and seen an Enzo parked beside a Carrera GT. Everyone knew they were special, but nobody could have told you what they’d become. That question is the heart of our new film, now live on the Classic Driver YouTube channel.
Shot at Villa La Massa Excellence 2026, in the hills above Florence, the 20-minute film follows JP Rathgen as he asks everyone from owners to spectators the same thing: which car here will people still care about in two decades? The answers are wonderfully inconsistent, and nobody agrees. Along the way, JP walks a dawn row of cars that have already answered the question, and joins the judging in his own class.
Then the film hits the road. A convoy leaves the villa for Mugello, with engine starts, onboard footage and a parade lap on one of the most famous circuits in the world. And there's one thing the owners we interviewed seem to agree on: cars that get used tend to be the ones that get remembered.
Watch the film on the Classic Driver YouTube channel, then tell us in the comments which car you’d pick.
