Marilyn Monroe’s last sitting on display in Paris
The year Marilyn Monroe died was a tumultuous one. Prior to her death, she made quite a few eye-raising appearances, including singing a very sexy “Happy Birthday” to then president of the United States, John F. Kennedy. But there was one moment in those last few tragic days, where Marilyn stripped down, both physically and emotionally, in front of the camera and showed the world a more vulnerable side to herself. A carefully curated selection of these photos, taken by Bert Stern for Vogue, will go on exhibit at DS World Paris from 8 June 2017 to 6 January 2018.
