Goodwood and the Ferrari 250 GTO is a match made in motorsport heaven

In 1962 and ’63, the Tourist Trophy race at Goodwood was dominated by Ferrari’s Grand Touring pièce de résistance – the 250 GTO. Now Unique & Limited is celebrating the car’s success in the prestigious event with a range of tasteful posters…

An Italian in England

When it was revealed in 1962, the 250 GTO picked up right where the 250 GT ‘SWB’ – Ferrari’s former (and formidably competitive) Grand Touring model – left off. Two events in which the car proved particularly successful were the 1962 and ’63 Goodwood Tourist Trophies – races that Unique & Limited has celebrated with a new range of fabulous retro posters. They feature famous GTOs from those Goodwood races, including Graham Hill’s 1963-winning Maranello Concessionaires car and David Piper’s distinctive green example in which he finished fifth in 1962, digitally rendered in all their hand-beaten, fly-spattered goodness.
