The Piedmontese entrepreneur also modified other cars; the 500 was the only one to have a good commercial success. The 500 MyCar was produced in two versions: with a rigid roof or with a sunroof ("convertible"). It boasted eye-catching features, some of which have never been adopted by the next two standard models: a shaped dashboard covered in black plastic, a steering wheel (Ferrero) and a wooden gearshift knob, rear-opening compass-opening windows for the closed-roof model, steel under-door fascias stainless steel, curved grille with chrome-plated zamak grille, steel wheel rings, glass border (not rear side) and chrome wipers, covering the entire interior upholstery in imitation skai leather. The optional scope of the metallic paint was also envisaged. Despite the higher cost compared to the original Fiat model, about 3,000 were produced, from the information gathered at the Italian Civil Motorization, the 500 European clubs, dedicated websites and passionate experts in historic cars, it is estimated that there are still some left in circulation a few hundred units.
