FuoriConcorso Open Museum returns for 2023 to celebrate 75 years of Porsche

FuoriConcorso’s Open Museum is set to make a comeback from the 20th to the 21st of May. The open-air exhibition will wow the public on the shores of Lake Como with some of Porsche's finest road and race cars in celebration of the marque’s 75th anniversary.

Following on from last year’s jaw-dropping FuoriConcorso Sonderwunsch exhibition, which showcased the most special bespoke cars ever created at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the FuoriConcorso Open Museum will return to the picturesque Villa Olmo on Lake Como between May 20th and 21st. This year, in addition to the main FuoriConcorso event at Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota, the Open Museum will celebrate Porsche’s 75th anniversary with an open-air solo exhibition of their rarest and most significant road and race cars.

Normally, these automotive unicorns can only be glimpsed inside the hallowed halls of the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen, but now the public will have an exciting opportunity to witness a fabulous array of Porsche’s most exciting cars in the dreamlike setting of Northern Italy in the early summer.

Guglielmo Miani, President of Larusmiani and founder of the FuoriConcorso event series, had this to say ahead of the exciting exhibition, “Villa Olmo with its wonderful waterfront park and unparalleled view of Lake Como provides the perfect setting for displaying some of the most exciting Porsche cars from the last 75 years. After we have managed to bring together some of the rarest handmade and bespoke Porsche sportscars at last year’s FuoriConcorso Sonderwunsch, this exhibition at FuoriConcorso Open Museum is a dream come true.” Certainly, the sight of so many icons of the road and track, complimented by the magical setting of Villa Olmo will be a dreamlike experience indeed!
