With the 599 GTB unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motorshow, Ferrari further distanced themselves from competition: a 12 cylinder 6L engine derived from the mythical Enzo, putting out 620 hp, making it the most powerful road Ferrari of all time. This engine is also rare for a road version since it exceeded the specific power of 100hp/liter without the addition of external features such as a compressor.
This particular 599 we present holds an exceptional pedigree since it was the example reserved for one of the best if not the best F1 drivers of all time: Michael Schumacher. As attested by the certificate provided by the factory, it was made available to him in order to promote the model and ensure its development. The logbook also indicates that the Ferrari factory in Maranello was the first owner until at least 2008. The current owner, a Ferrari enthusiast, bought the car in 2016. Presented in the attractive hue "Rosso Corsa", the 599 GTB Fiorano we present has covered only 22,000 km and is in good general condition. It was serviced by Gauduel Ferrari Lyon in 2018. On this occasion, the clutch wear was 12% and the ceramic carbon brakes 22%. Options include 20" rims, red brake calipers, yellow rev counter bottom, LED carbon steering wheel, Scuderia fender badges, carbon seats, and leather-covered rear board. Ultra-powerful, versatile and unanimously recognized as a beautiful design, the 599 undoubtedly has a very bright future. When it comes to the example reserved for the legendary driver Michael Schumacher, it is a unique car of its kind to be acquired urgently.
