With under a week to go until thousands of car-loving guests will flock to the dream-like mansion for The Aurora Concours, the lineup of machinery set to be displayed is nothing short of legendary. Taking place within the gorgeous grounds of Sweden’s Norrviken Gardens in Båstad from June 27 to 29, this event has gone from strength to strength since its introduction last year.
What’s more, the event will host a new addition for 2025, created in partnership with Dreamline Yachts Sweden, Princess Yachts Scandinavia, and TJB Super Yachts, The Aurora sets sail with a curated selection of vessels from brands like Riva, Princess, and Pershing – right in the heart of Båstad’s harbour.
Aside from the glistening waves lapping against the harbour, the shimmering paintwork of iconic cars will be a sight to behold, with latest offerings from Morgan, Koenigsegg, Rolls-Royce and many more nestled between some of the world’s best hypercars and classic wonders. BMW have had a presence among the manicured grounds of the Norrviken Gardens since the event's beginnings, but this year they are stepping it up a notch, bringing a truly jaw-dropping lineup to celebrate 50 years of BMW Art Cars. Visitors can expect to see the icons up close, including #1, the one that started it all, created by Alexander Calder, followed by #3 by Roy Lichtenstein, #4 by Andy Warhol, and the #17 designed by Jeff Koons. While many are there to bask in the Swedish sunshine, The Aurora hosts a Concours event, showcasing a celebration of automotive excellence with over 60 of the world’s finest classic cars, future classics and thoroughbred hypercars all battling it out to impress a group of industry-leading judges.
A new addition to 2025 is the introduction of the PhotoGallery, which showcases powerful fine art photography by world-renowned artists, with every image telling a story. Visitors to The Aurora Concours can experience “Stars & Cars – Icons in Motion”, a celebration of legendary celebrities and the iconic cars that shaped their stories. This exhibition captures timeless portraits and cinematic moments of fame, freedom and style, and is not to be missed.
