For how much longer will these Porsche 911 Turbos be so cheap?

The fried-egg-generation 996 Porsche 911 Carrera might still be waiting for its big comeback, but well-preserved Turbos are already in great demand among collectors. These are our current favourites from the Classic Driver Market…

It seems everybody is looking for a well-preserved yet affordable 996-gen Porsche 911 Turbo. With its all-wheel drive and powerful 400HP-plus engine, the 911 Turbo has always been the ultimate Autobahn stormer. And the 996-generation variant could be considered a spiritual successor to the mythical 959, but for a fraction of the price. You can find examples of Zuffenhausen’s former flagship for less than 40,000 euros. And even the finest low-mileage specimens are hardly nudging the 100,000-euro mark. In any case, we predict a bright future for the Porsche 996 Turbo.
