ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 996 marked a major step for Porsche with its Flat 6 engine utilising water cooling allowing its design to improve reliability and performance. The Turbo did just that churning out 415 BHP it delivered a good thump of boost and exhilarating power to the redline.
The all wheel drive system allows as much of this to put to the tarmac, With huge grip it makes the 996 Turbo feel approachable despite its power. The 6-speed manual gear box is a joy to operate, providing slick and precise changes.
Having covered just over 2,000 miles since its last routine service and a full service history prior to this the car is in good health. The history file, complete with MOT paperwork all the way back to 2005, outlines the levels of care and attention taken in the maintenance of this Porsche.
