Our man Rémi Dargegen was recently granted the chance to capture a spectacular joint birthday party in Stuttgart as the Porsche 718 RS 60 Spyder, 993-generation 911 Turbo and 918 Spyder celebrated their 60th, 25th and 10th anniversaries respectively. Here’s a glimpse behind the scenes…

Jubilees galore

Thanks to the kind folks at the Porsche Museum, it was our resident Porschephile Rémi Dargegen who was chosen to capture a particularly memorable joint birthday party in Stuttgart. See, 2020 marks the 60th anniversary of the giant-killing 718 RS 60 Spyder, the 25th anniversary of the 993-generation 911 Turbo and the 10th anniversary of the 918 Spyder. And to mark the occasion, the Porsche Museum gathered examples of each of the jubilee models and took them to Stuttgart’s Garage 229, a wonderfully retro former family Opel garage that’s since been converted into an event space. This beautifully captured video offers you a glimpse behind the scenes of what was a day none of those involved are likely to forget any time soon.
