This car has a very solid competition history over the last several decades, initially in the USA and then moving on to UK.

Originally manufactured in July 1952, this XK120 was exported and subsequently distributed by Hornburg, Los Angeles of the same year. The car would remain in the US under the ownership of one Mr. Stephen A Bodensieck, a skilled gunsmith and highly experienced jaguar and Ferrari mechanic and enthusiast. The XK would move to its second US owner, Mr. Dick Miladelaroca who was recorded to have put the car through its paces at many Vintage Auto Racing Association events. Records also show the XK had won a Jaguar Club concours event under the ownership of Mr. Miladelaroca. Original photos show the XK racing on what appear to be Torque Thrust wheels or Rocket wheels (a magnesium copy of the Torque Thrust design).

Once CSK303 had been imported back into the UK, it would be acquired by multiple high-profile owners and would become very well-known at the track. It has been successfully raced by drivers including Gill Watson, Mark Gibbon, Stefan Ziegler, Chris Keith-Lucas, and Gary Bartlett.
More recently it has been used as the billboard car for Spa to Tour de Mont Blanc, highlighting the versatility and overall usability of the car. During it’s ownership in the UK, the car would be race prepared by CKL Developments and would successfully participate in events such as the HSCC, and the JEC Jaguar XK Championship. The car has a freshly-built Sigma 3.8 engine.

It is an on-the-button race car and amongst other things can take part in this year’s Jaguar Classic Challenge one-hour race, preceding the Le Mans Classic 24 hour!
