Follow our chat with Christophe Schmidt on Classic Driver Live

Olympic snowboarder, reviver of skateboard brand Banzai, Porsche collector, specialist automobile dealer - Christophe Schmidt is a man with many talents. And our next guest on Classic Driver Live.

At the 2006 Turin and 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, Christophe Schmidt competed in the mens snowboard halfpipe. The athlete, who was born in 1983, has always had numerous interests that went beyond sport. He invested the first money he earned from snowboarding in a Porsche 911S Targa, from 1971 - the begining of a fine collection of classic Porsches. Since then Christophe Schmidt has turned his passion for automobiles into a profession. With Weekend Heroes and Auxietre & Schmidt, which he founded together with Laurent Auxietre, he runs two impressive specialist automobile dealerships. His latest find, a Porsche 550 - that was previously owned by Claude Picasso - has just graced the cover of Classic Driver. And as if all of this wasn't enough, Christophe Schmidt recently revived the cult skateboard brand Banzai - you can find the desirable aluminum skateboards in the Classic Driver Shop. We are very happy to welcome Christophe Schmidt to Classic Driver Live. Follow us live on Instagram on November 3rd at 7pm CET. Alternatively watch the recording afterwards on our IGTV channel or in this article.
