The 785bhp 812 Superfast is the ultimate Ferrari Grand Tourer

Coinciding with Ferrari’s 70th anniversary, the marque will be debuting its newest and, appropriately, fastest model, the 812 Superfast, at this year’s Geneva International Motor Show…

Fast and furious

With a top speed of 211 mph and producing over 785bhp, the 812 is proving to be Ferrari’s ultimate performance machine. This model is the first Ferrari to feature EPS (Electric Power Steering), as well as the Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 system (PVC), which evolved from experience gained from the F12tdf. It also features the latest 5.0 version of Ferrari’s patented Side Slip Control (SCC), making the 780bhp easier to handle and more thrilling to manipulate. In true Italian fashion, the Superfast has the elegant looks to seamlessly complement its menacing power. Along with a high tail, inspired by the 365 GB/4 of ’69, a lowered spoiler and cabin, and muscular wheel arches, this lady will be wearing a brand-new shade of red — Rosso Settanta, created in honour of the 70th anniversary. As fun as it is to look at, behind the wheel is where we all want to be, and with its ergonomic seats, new steering wheel and instruments clusters, and latest infotainment system, you can enjoy sitting at a stop light just as much as screaming down a country road…
