Get the ‘Italian Job’ look with Curry & Paxton, minus the Miura!

Great film icons are often defined by the glasses they wear, and the same can be said for some of motor racing’s iconic names like Paul Newman, always seen in his cool sunglasses. Michael Caine is perhaps the most iconic of them all though.

New to the Classic Driver Shop, British brand Curry & Paxton date back to the Victorian times. But it was the 1960s that really made them swing and their most famous customer was Sir Michael Caine. At that time, they had a chain of shops and their reputation was second to none. Today the stylish chaps at Mason & Son have brought the brand back to life with a range high quality frames, created in conjunction with Italian manufacturer Mazzucchelli. As well as the classic style acetate frames there is also a collaboration with Motoluxe to recreate a 100 year-old pair of glasses from the Curry & Paxton archive. These have a distinctive side mesh, perfect for that ski trip! Check out the full range in the Classic Driver Shop.
