Arthur Schening merges his passions for historic racing and printed designs

Arthur Schening has more than 20 years' experience in design and illustration, but only recently has he found time to merge his profession with a passion for historic racing cars…

Virginia-based illustrator Arthur Schening has long had an interest in historic racing cars, and has now decided to represent those he considers to be among the most significant as a series of prints. Including such legendary machines as Ecurie Ecosse Jaguar C-/D-types, Rothmans Porsche 956s and Shelby Daytona Coupés to name but a few, the series was created by Schening in Adobe Illustrator. Each print – measuring 13” by 19” and printed on 65lb uncoated cover stock – is priced at $30, with limited editions to follow.
