With her wedding band notably absent, it’s likely that the photo was taken in the latter months of 1954 – meaning she had already filmed the legendary ‘white dress’ moment in The Seven Year Itch. With the popularity that scene generated, it’s no wonder she chose a similar hue in which to frolic in the balmy outdoors...
