With Ghibli, Giugiaro penned at Ghia, a real masterful design. This sleek model was the culmination of the Maserati V8 engine with its lineage going back to the earlier decade. Powered by the four overhead camshaft engine designed by Giulio Alfieri, the Ghibli was powerful and enduring. The 4.7-litres version is what concerns us here, developing 310bhp and good for more than 250 km/h, but the car always very refined all the way up to its top speed.

The Maserati Ghibli presented here was sold new in France and registered in Paris on 26 June, 1968. The car became a part of a Parisian family in May 17, 1976 and stayed with the family till 2012. It was maintained in a very regular and careful manner by Officine Alfieri Maserati SpA in Modena. It is equipped with a stainless steel exhaust and Michelin XWX tyres in good condition. The beautiful blue colour was recently redone and blends very well with the elegant lines of the body. It has Borrani alloy rims, with centre locking. Inside, the dark red leather upholstery of excellent quality is very well preserved, the carpets are hardly worn and the dashboard is flawless. Power windows and Blaupunkt are part of the complete equipment of the car, which is indeed very well finished. The counter shows 66,030 km and the owner informed us that the clutch has been replaced fairly recently. So this is a really rare opportunity to acquire this masterpiece of style in very original condition, stored for many years in caring hands.
