This fantastic 1962 Jaguar E-Type OTS “Flatfloor” was restored to a very high standard some years ago. When introduced the Jaguar E-Type was extremely advanced. Because the E-Type derived from the Le Mans 24 hour winning Jaguar D-Type, this street car made use of then extremely advanced racing techniques. The E-Type was built with independent suspension, a full set of disc brakes and a monocoque body, things unheard of at the time! Our E-Type has been fully restored. Absolutely nothing has been missed. All the brightwork has been re-chromed, all body panels have been resprayed and all parts of the suspension have been either resprayed or coated. No full restoration is complete without a mechanical overhaul. The latter has indeed happened using a specialist and only factory parts. All piping, wiring and gaskets have been been replaced. No nook or cranny was missed of the list, this is a body-off restoration executed to the letter! The interior trim has been replaced and is in very good condition. The whole restoration process has been covered with many photos and invoices which form part of the extensive wallet that comes with the car. Naturally this Jaguar is rust-free, the finish is of top quality and is correctly aligned. This Jaguar has full matching numbers, complete with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate.
