Description

FS3601 is a late (August 1930) 4.5 Litre with the later spec "heavy" chassis, self wrapping brakes (Alfin drums), improved carburettors, and plate clutch. It is fitted with overdrive and with the later more rigid chassis is ideal for international rallies and events. It was the subject of a thorough restoration carried our some years ago by Tony Townsend at Elmdown, one of the most highly rated Vintage Bentley restoration specialists. Elmdown fitted the Le Mans spec coachwork which is in excellent order with first class paint and trim.

In 2017 the engine was rebuilt by a marque specialist and other mechanical items were attended to with invoices totalling over £100,000. All documentation is contained in an extensive history file that accompanies the car.

The car remained in one family for many years and attended many BDC events and rallies. It is very reasonably priced in todays market and is a really solid Vintage Bentley in outstanding condition.
