The Alfa Romeo Sprint Zagato is one of the most iconic coupe of the 1990s. It was designed by Centro Stile Fiat and Carrozzeria Zagato and produced from 1989 to 1991 in only 1,036 units. All in red, except one in black with red interior for Andrea Zagato himself.

A car created to amaze especially with its extreme forms, designed to exploit the ground effect. The futuristic bodywork was made in MODAR, a thermoplastic material that was used to seal this concentrate of technology. The mechanics and the platform were totally inherited from the Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo IMSA racing prototype. Gearbox in the rear and rear suspension with Ponte De Dion.
It has the impetuosity of the V6 Busso 3.0 engine which, when properly processed, produced 210 HP, a power that allowed it to reach a top speed of 245 km/h and to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds. The suspensions were modified by Giorgio Pianta, engineer and team manager of the Fiat group's rally racing teams, who perfected them with the PTFE ones. Thanks to this modification, the rolling was reduced and the handling in the driving improved. Another innovation was the introduction of a hydraulic system to vary the height from the ground.

This rare example is the N.709 of 1000, which has been impeccably preserved by its current owner, who has jealously guarded it to this day. It has carried out all scheduled maintenance and only covered 24,427 km. It is complete with all the original Alfa Romeo kits of the time (drive train cover, carry bag, test certificate, brochure with all the dedicated publications, etc.) and all the relevant original Alfa Romeo documentation.
