The Alfa Romeo Montreal is in many ways a treasure still to be discovered. This example, one of only 3925 cars built, was imported into Switzerland presumably from France many years ago. Over the years the vacuum activating cylinders for the headlight covers were removed and these covers now must be operated manually. The coachwork was partly restored many years ago. In 2020 the Alfa was taken over by a knowledgeable enthusiast who immediately had the SPICA injection system checked and tuned by a Swiss specialist. The Montreal is driving very well and the coachwork and the interior present themselves in good condition. The last veteran MOT was completed in July 2018.
