Description

1972 Alfa Romeo Montreal by OKTech

Crafted to the highest Swiss standards by Oliver at OKTech in Muttenz, Switzerland, this is a thoroughbred built to be driven. Over 1,300 hours of meticulous work transformed this Alfa Romeo Montreal into something extraordinary.

A genuine race engine built and tuned by Oliver himself that remains perfectly mannered at low speed, on the road, and even for daily commuting. No vibrations. No rattles. No unwanted smells. Just pure, refined performance that feels as composed at idle as it does at 9,000 rpm.

Every single detail has been considered. Adjustable power steering. Extensive modifications so even a very tall driver sits in complete comfort. Windows that glide open and closed with the speed of a modern car. A gearshift that feels like a preferred contemporary sports car. Throttle response that is pure fantasy made real.

Listen to it. Equal-length headers and a flat-plane crank deliver a soundtrack of pure pleasure. The now-functional bonnet air intake feeds the independent throttle bodies, producing an intake howl as wild and intoxicating as the exhaust note itself. This was no guesswork: airflow was optimised through 3D scanning by a former Sauber F1 team member.

Increasing capacity to 3.25 litres demanded serious engineering. The pistons are no longer eccentric — they are now centred to accept new cylinder liners. Every component of the engine and drivetrain has been lightened and balanced to an obsessive degree. The result is lightening fast throttle response reminiscent of a superbike and the ability to rev freely to 9,000 rpm (set for reliability, as it is capable of much more), but also greater long-term durability of that performance.

The same 3D scanning was applied to the entire engine bay. Extra space was carefully created for the massive front-mounted radiator. All wiring was either completely redone or redesigned and re-routed from scratch. Even the washer fluid reservoir was relocated — creating an engine bay that is simultaneously more beautiful, more airy, and more functional.

A 45% limited-slip differential on the rear axle, four-piston brakes, and specially engineered for this specific car Intrax adjustable suspension complete the package. Everything works in harmony.

This is not a restoration.

This is a Montreal reimagined by OKTech — Swiss precision, race-bred soul, and the pure joy of driving.
