One-off Hermès In The Pocket created for Only Watch charity auction

In 2012, Hermès launched a pocket watch that could be worn on the wrist, inspired by the porte-oignon given to Jacqueline Hermès by her father a century before. Now, for the 2015 Only Watch charity auction, the French brand has created a unique version of the characterful timepiece…

The Only Watch auction, held by Phillips in Geneva on 7 November 2015, sees numerous manufacturers come together to create 44 unique watches to be sold in aid of a muscular dystrophy charity. Just a few weeks after revealing a new version of its In The Pocket timepiece, Hermès has announced a one-off example as its contribution to the sale. With the new rose-gold caseback, the one-of-a-kind watch sports a finely grained black dial, and comes complete with a case made from Swift calfskin in the brand’s signature H red hue.
