Style is surging from this electric bicycle

It’s never easy to get from point A to B in fashionable, environmentally friendly, and enjoyable form, but thanks to two Eastern European e-bike builders, this is no longer a hardship…

High voltage

As electric transportation becomes ever more fashionable, the myriad new attempts of creating something captivating yet eco-friendly can often fall short, with a few notable exceptions worth getting charged up about. The Avionics V1 is a break from the norm, then, with its intriguing blend of minimalism and an old-school ‘chopper’ motorbike-esque silhouette, embellished with a mix of sweeping metal, Jatoba wood pieces, and matte black paint. Power comes from a 5,000-watt brushless motor with a range of 120km and top speed of 58 km/h — although, we suspect any potential buyer of this e-bike is more interested in the form rather than the function. One feature seems particularly pertinent, however: a USB port, perfect for recharging your phone, which will no doubt run flat from the countless Instagram uploads of your two-wheeled pride and joy…
