How our world was built around the car

Highways, suburbs, fuel stations, underground car parks, and motels – no invention has shaped the world in which we live more than the automobile. A new exhibition in Switzerland now explores the interaction between architecture and the car…

The profound effect the triumphal march of the car had on architecture between the 1920s and the 1980s can now be explored in a new photographic and automotive exhibition in central Switzerland. ‘Auto & Architecture’ can be viewed until 30 June 2018 at Emil Frey Classics in the Classic Car Centre Switzerland in Safenwil.
