Which project car would you buy from one of Europe's most secret collections?

Usually, these long-forgotten classics are hard to come by, but Classic Car Auctions’ Palmen Barnfind Collection sale is filled with them. Maybe you’ll find a diamond in the rough below!

You’d be forgiven for thinking these images of dozens of barnfinds were generated by artificial intelligence, after all, it seems more likely that such a collection of forgotten classics could only exist in the digital realm. However, these cars aren’t virtual, they’re real, and you’ll soon have a chance to bid on them in Classic Car Auctions’ Palmen Barnfind Collection sale between the 5th and 7th of June

Amazingly, all of these cars come from a single collection consisting of over 230 vehicles, which was amassed by Mr. Palmen over more than 40 years. Despite their grimy appearances, Mr. Palmer reportedly started his cars often to prevent their engines from seizing, a clear sign of the love he held for his immense collection. Even today, it’s not difficult to imagine the potential beauty of these fantastic automobiles, once the the decades’ worth of dust has been washed away. The stunning Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale certainly caught our eye, as did the Lamborghini Espada and Lancia Aurelia, all of which deserve to be returned to their former glory. So, if you’ve been dreaming of carrying out your own restoration from start to finish, any of these fabulous classics would make the perfect basis for your upcoming project.
