We’d raise our paddles for these 10 cars at Aguttes in Paris

For its forthcoming auction on 23 June in Paris, Aguttes has once again assembled an exciting miss of proven classics and modern collector cars…

The stars of Aguttes’ Summer Sale are undoubtedly three racing cars: a Jaguar E-type 3.8 Competition FHC from 1962, a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette C3 built to rare Group 4/5 specification, and a Porsche 911 SC Group 4 that was acquired by the French superstar Jonny Hallyday in 1979. Also interesting for motorsport enthusiasts is the De Tomaso Pantera GT5, whose brutish body kit reminds us of the Group 4 racecars from the early 1980s. The height of French automotive culture, on the other hand, is embodied by a wonderfully elegant Facel Vega Excellence, one of just 153 examples built.

Here at Classic Driver, we’re always looking for the classic cars of tomorrow that are still affordable today. And Aguttes has indulged us with a raft of interesting cars in its Summer Sale catalogue. For an estimated 50,000–60,000 euros, for example, you could be the new owner of a Ferrari 456 GT or a BMW Alpina B10 Biturbo. You can find our 10 favourites from the sale listed below or, alternatively, browse the entire catalogue in the Classic Driver Market
