From first glance, it’s clear this is no ordinary SV. Cloaked in a deep British Racing Green, the car’s stance is both aristocratic and athletic. Some would say sporty, yet effortlessly regal. Fitting, considering that’s exactly what Holland & Holland are famous for, crafting sporting shotguns and rifles for almost two centuries. This heritage and athleticism goes hand-in-hand with the Range Rover, a machine built to briskly transport its occupants to just about anywhere they desire, but also in complete comfort and style.

This new collaboration is a masterclass in the art of details. A machined dual-finish grille proudly bears the Holland & Holland insignia, while Overfinch’s own lettering adds just the right measure of swagger. Those details continue with 23-inch multi-spoke forged alloys, complete with self-levelling H&H centre caps, of course. Solid aluminium side vents are engraved with the gunmaker’s famous ‘Royal’ scroll, and a full width illuminated rear light bar stitched together with Overfinch’s blade emblem makes others aware of its character.

Open the door and you step into a rolling country manor; there truly is no other way to describe it. The cabin is fitted with open-pore French walnut, echoing the stocks of Holland & Holland’s legendary ‘Royal’ Side by Side shotgun, whose scrollwork appears throughout on stainless-steel elements. The seats, already comfy enough in even the base-spec Range Rover, have been trimmed in quilted Bridge of Weir leather, monogrammed and delicately embroidered with sporting scenes. There are champagne flutes waiting in the rear console and a machined gear selector topped with a hand-finished wooden grip. Talk about motoring theatre at its most refined.
For those who take their field pursuits and picnics seriously, Overfinch offers two Companion Chests that elevate country hospitality to an artform. The upper chest serves champagne for eight, with crystal flutes, a staghorn corkscrew and monogrammed napery. Designed with hunting in mind, the lower chest holds two shotguns alongside whisky tumblers, decanters and pewter hip flasks disguised as shotgun cartridges, making for a delightful wink to tradition.

Available in three shades, as well as various blends of London Tan and Harris Green, this exquisite limited edition allows clients to tune the ambience from stately to subtly sporting with ease. And as each example is hand-finished to order, no two of the mere 25 examples being produced will ever be quite alike.
As collaborations go, this one feels inevitable. British heritage meets modern luxury, with Overfinch and Holland & Holland crafting not merely an ultra-cool, customised Range Rover, but a travelling expression of craftsmanship, connoisseurship and country life at its most polished. Whether you’re looking for the perfect shooting companion, or the ultimate head-turning picnic basket, this is two brands flexing their luxury muscles, and we love it!
