The second iteration of the popular exhibition ‘Precious Metal’ at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles comprises a mouth-watering selection of more sporting silver classics, from the legendary Mercedes-Benz W196 Streamliner to the McLaren F1. While some might deem the shade bland, we happen to think it accentuates a car’s shape. And what better way to demonstrate this than to assemble some of the most staggeringly beautiful cars ever created...
