Ex-Ringo Starr Facel Vega goes under the hammer

The 1964 Facel Vega Facel II is one of just 26 examples which left the factory in right-hand-drive format. Ringo Starr also ordered a more powerful, 6.7-litre V8 version, which replaced the 6.3-litre standard engine. The Facel in the Bonhams sale could well find a lucky new owner for GBP 300,000 to 350,000.
