In 1972, Gunter Sachs opened his own gallery in Hamburg, at which he allowed Andy Warhol to hold his first solo exhibition. Almost two decades later, the German created a series of Warhol-style photographs of Claudia Schiffer dedicated to the pop artist and Sachs' former wife, Brigitte Bardot. On 10 December, Quittenbaum auction house will offer a complete portfolio of the eight photographs (from a set of 33) at its Contemporary Art sale in Münich, with an estimate of €120,000 - €150,000.
