Fantastic classics to take centre stage at Finarte in Padova

The catalogue for Finarte’s forthcoming collector car sale in Padova on 25 October is an automotive smorgasbord that spans over 100 years of history. These are our favourites…

From a barn-find 1949 Fiat 1100 that’s in more than a little need of some TLC and a drop-dead gorgeous 1948 Cisitalia 202 Gran Sport to a low-mileage 1992 Lancia Delta Integrale Martini 5 and an ‘as-new’ 2017 Alpine A110, there are some truly fantastic cars offered by Finarte at its collector car sale during Auto e Moto d’Epoca in Padova on 25 October.

In our view, one car stands head and shoulders above the rest and that’s the matching-numbers Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport. Exquisitely clothed by Pinin Farina, the elegant drop-top finished 40th overall in the 1949 Mille Miglia. Eligible for virtually every prestigious concours event on the planet, Finarte expects the Alfa to sell for 725,000–825,000 euros.

Elsewhere, we love the Porsche 911 ‘IDEM Twins’ – a 1968 Porsche 911 S Targa and a 2018 Porsche 911 Targa 4S built to the exact same specification (est. 590,000–620,000 euros) – and the quirky Gandini-designed 1991 Qvale Mangusta (70,000–75,000 euros). You can find our favourites from the sale listed below or, alternatively, browse the entire catalogue in the Classic Driver Market.
