Zum Verkauf steht ein außergewöhnlich schöner und perfekt restaurierter BMW 507. Das Fahrzeug ist seit 40 Jahren in unserer Kundschaft.
Vor 24 Jahren haben wir das Auto von einem Kunden in Frankreich an den heutigen Eigentümer in Deutschland vermittelt. Von 2012 bis 2019 wurde der Wagen von unserem 507 Partner in Deutschland von Grund auf extrem aufwendig und fachgerecht restauriert. Die Restauration ist in einem Wertgutachten von Dipl.-Ing. Klaus Kukuk ausführlich dokumentiert.
Im Zuge der Restauration wurde die Aluminium Karosserie von der Rahmen-/Bodengruppe getrennt. Ein sehr anspruchsvoller Arbeitsschritt der oftmals ausgelassen wird.
Für viele Besucher und Motorsportjournalisten, war er der Superstar auf der 37. Automobilausstellung in Frankfurt. Im September 1955 feierte BMW mit allen Messebesuchern die Premiere des neuen BMW 507 Touring Sportwagen. Das hinreißend schöne Design von Albrecht Graf Goertz begeistert von damals, seit Vorstellung, bis heute Automobilliebhaber auf der ganzen Welt.
Mit nur 252 gebauten Exemplaren, ist der BMW 507 heute eine automobile Rarität. Alain Delon, John Surtees, Ursula Andress, Toni Sailer und auch Elvis Presley gehörten zu den Käufern.

Offered for sale is an exceptionally beautiful and perfectly restored BMW 507. The car has been part of our client circle for 40 years.
Twenty-four years ago, we brokered the sale of the car from a client in France to its current owner in Germany. Between 2012 and 2019, the car underwent an extensive and meticulous ground-up restoration by our BMW 507 specialist in Germany. The restoration is comprehensively documented in a valuation report prepared by Dipl.-Ing. Klaus Kukuk.
As part of the restoration, the aluminium body was separated from the chassis and floor assembly. This is a highly demanding and complex process that is often omitted during restorations.
For many visitors and motoring journalists, the BMW 507 was the star of the 37th International Motor Show in Frankfurt. In September 1955, BMW celebrated the premiere of its new BMW 507 Touring Sports Car. The breathtakingly elegant design by Albrecht Graf Goertz captivated enthusiasts from the moment it was unveiled and continues to fascinate automobile lovers around the world to this day.
With only 252 examples produced, the BMW 507 is now one of the great automotive rarities. Its distinguished owners included Alain Delon, John Surtees, Ursula Andress, Toni Sailer and Elvis Presley.
