The Beetle RSI 3.2 V6, introduced in 2001, was a radical break with everything the Beetle had stood for until then. This model was built in a limited run of just 250 examples worldwide and was intended as a technological statement. Beneath the compact bodywork lurks a muscular 3.2-litre VR6 engine, mated to a manual gearbox and permanent four-wheel drive (4Motion). With its aggressive widebody kit, carbon accents and outspoken design, the RSI became a cult object among enthusiasts and collectors.
