For sale is an exceptional Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R – not your average ‘Godzilla’, but a meticulously built, heavily modified example with serious performance credentials.

The car was first registered in Japan in 1990 and later imported to the UK. Today it is presented in white with a black interior, right-hand drive and a 5-speed manual gearbox. The odometer reading is 7,269 miles; the total mileage is not fully known. Since being rebuilt by RK Tuning, it has covered around 2,400 miles.

At its heart lies the legendary RB26DETT, here converted to an RB28DETT based on a Tomei 2.8-litre block. According to the seller, the engine produces around 750 bhp at low boost pressure. Fitted components include a Precision 64/66 reverse-flow turbocharger, Tomei components, a Link G4 ECU, a GReddy titanium exhaust, ARTEC manifolds, larger fuel injectors and a correspondingly modified fuel and cooling system.

The rest of the car is also consistently geared towards performance: spot-welded chassis, roll cage, Bride bucket seats, BBS 18-inch wheels, Nankang AR1 tyres, Endless Zeal coilover suspension, Polybush kit, Alcon touring car brake system and a reconditioned ATTESA all-wheel-drive system. The drivetrain has been reinforced with, among other things, OS Giken components, a Kaaz two-way limited-slip differential, an OS Giken three-plate clutch and Nismo gear linkage.

Visually, the car remains clearly recognisable as an R32 GT-R, but has a much sharper look than a production model. The white paintwork, the motorsport wheels, the roll cage and the stripped-back interior give the car exactly the look a seriously built R32 needs: functional, brutal and free of show tuning.

Inside, there are two Bride bucket seats, seatbelts, a removable Momo steering wheel, a Nismo gear knob, a Sard Stack display and a Pioneer head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

This Skyline is not a collector’s item for purists, but a meticulously built R32 GT-R for someone who wants to not just look at the legend, but truly experience it. A car with motorsport DNA, cutting-edge technology and a presence that needs no explanation.
