Description

This exceptional Ferrari 250 SWB California was built on the chassis of a 1963 GTE Series 3, number 4755GT. The previous owner, an art collector, purchased the donor car, and the conversion work was carried out in Italy between 2014 and 2016.

Designed in a spectacular Pino Verde Metalizzato with a red interior, it is finished with a rare hard top, reportedly an original from the period. The quality of the workmanship and the respect for the original California specifications make this one of the finest Ferrari 250 conversions we have seen.

In recognition of this fantastic project, the car was invited to be exhibited at the prestigious Peter Auto's 'Art & Elegance' Concours d'Elégance held at the Chantilly Castle near Paris in 2018.
The car has only seen little use since its completion, covering 1,300 km prior to being sold to another collector in 2022, with only around 100 km added since then. It has recently been serviced and offers a magnificent driving experience.

The car is presented in wonderful condition today, and its file includes restoration records, previous registration documents, bills of sale, and a report. It is registered in the EU, registration documents mentioning "California" and body as "open", and all taxes have been paid.

The 4755GT offers incredible value for money and, on top of being a truly remarkable car, can also be considered an art piece for esthetes.
