Chassis 14034 was first delivered to passionate Bugatti racing driver Thomas Alistair Sutherland Ogilvie  Mathieson, better known as "Taso" by his friends, for understandable reasons.
Taso is not only known as a prolific Bugattio racer, but also as th author of an interesting book on motor racing and as a long term member of the Brooklands Society.
He enjoyed this powerful DHC until 1946, when he sold it to Reginald Gwynn from Surrey/ UK.

In 1949 it was registered for a few months to a local car dealer, but was obviously bought back by the Gwynn family, first registered to the same Reginald Gwynn up to 1970, and then to another family member, Peter Gwynn up to 2009.

After 2009 it finally changed hands and was sold to a Swiss lawyer, who comissioned an extensive engine overhaul by UK specialist, totalling 42 T€, among other resoration work.

Since 2015, the Lagonda has been part of a larger German collection.

Lagonda V12s are beautiful and fast cars, but it is difficult to find a good one that has not been tampered with too much. Here you got such an example.
