Catawiki -Italian Classic Car Auction - 12th October 2017

Catering to the growing demand for modern classics, lots such as the ice white 1987 BMW M3 (est. 56,500–63,500 euros) and the restored Peugeot 205 GTI of the same year (est. 9,400–11,700) are increasingly popular choices for the collector who values driving pleasure, and they’re sure to attract plenty of interest come sale day.
From the renowned Bardinon Collection, the same stable in which last year’s headliner used to reside, this 275 P, chassis number 0816, will make its first public appearance in over 17 years, after being reunited with its Le Mans-winning driver Jean Guichet at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2000. Not only is this a Le Mans-winning car, it is the last factory Ferrari to ever win the arduous endurance race, being driven to victory by the aforementioned Guichet and Nino Vaccarella.
