In the back it has a 1584cc air-cooled boxer engine with 50 hp ensuring it can properly take its 4 occupants to their destination.

And driving a Beetle convertible is really fun! If you look through the Beetle's family tree, you will soon come across another iconic piece of technology, namely its stepbrother the Porsche 911. And like the Beetle, it too had for decades an air-cooled boxer engine in the back.
