Description

It is obvious that we all know nice the Volkswagen Beetle is, and the very old concept has not lost any of its charm in the latest version, the 1303 LS. What makes it much better than many of its predecessors, is the more powerful engine, the independent front suspension and the safer disc brakes. A beautiful appearance car that drives great, has good looks, is cheap to maintain, and the Beetle also seems to have eternal life.

This Zambesi Green convertible was delivered in Germany on July 3, 1973. The car stayed there until a Dutchman took ownership in 2004. A very extensive restoration was carried out in 2013. Literally the whole car was taken apart and also taken off the chassis. Photos and invoices prove that no expense has been spared to return the car to a beautiful condition. The paint is beautiful and without scratches or dents, and the cream soft top is the expensive but much better Sonnenland version and matches the green paint sublime. The technique was also taken car of and the engine was overhauled as well.

On June 5, 2015, the car was taken over by the second Dutch owner, who recently took the step to the Beetle its faster brother, by buying a Porsche. This released the Beetle and we were able to add it to our collection. We are happy with it, and hope that the next owner will be just as careful with it as the predecessors.

Is it a little itchy at the thought that you could be the one…?
