The Saab 9-3 grew into one of the most important models in Saab's history. The sporty versions with turbo engines in particular earned a loyal following across the globe. Within that lineage, the Turbo X holds an exceptional position. This version was developed as a tribute to the legendary Saab 900 Turbo, and it was also the first Saab to be fitted with the advanced XWD all-wheel-drive system.
The combination of a powerful V6 turbo engine, a manual gearbox and all-wheel drive made the Turbo X an instant modern classic. The model was built in limited numbers and is known today as one of the most desirable Saabs ever made. For many Saab connoisseurs, the Turbo X represents the absolute peak of the performance and engineering the brand had to offer.
