Originally delivered in 1959 in the UK (in Black Pearl color), this Silver Cloud I was promptly shipped to New York to its first owner. It was then sold to Ralph Walton Jr., based in Indiana, before moving to California in November 1977 with Dr. Robert Pazen. Purchased by Jeremy Janss of Silverado in January 1981, he kept the car for 20 years before selling it to Fernando Eiroa, a well-known collector based in Newport Coast, California, in the early 2000s.
The current owner acquired the car about ten years ago and drives it regularly.
Equipped with a custom-made vanity, it originally had no picnic trays but rather a narrower division (35.5 cm by 5 cm), topped with a manually wound Fleetwood clock signed Jaeger.
At Mrs. Bradley’s request, the interior was revised with specific seat depth (48 cm), a particular distance between the front seat and the division (66 cm), and the floor-to-division base clearance (35.5 cm). Grab handles were added in the rear for easier access, along with privacy curtains, widened rear armrests with ashtrays and cigarette lighters for rear passengers.
Also worth noting are the chauffeur seat covers and the K.L.B. monograms on the rear doors!
The previous owner had the Silver Cloud restored and chose to update its color configuration to burgundy and silver, with brown leather upholstery front and rear, while preserving all the unique factory build sheet specifications.
The restored car was displayed at a 2010 RROC gathering, where it won second place for Most Improved Car. The current owner—a private French collector—has had the car serviced for the sale, and a roadworthiness inspection will be done for the occasion.
A complete file is available upon request, and the car will be sold with a 12-month CarJager mechanical breakdown warranty.
