Born in 1976, the Porsche 924 was created to support the 928. With its Audi-sourced four-cylinder engine at the front and gearbox at the rear, this half-sports car and half-GT was particularly well-balanced.
Like the 914 at the end of the 1960s, it had all the qualities needed to be a success and appeal to a young public. Produced over a twelve-year period to the tune of almost 150,000 units, the 924 remains one of the biggest commercial successes in Porsche history.
Drawing on its racing experience, the company developed a Turbo version with a completely new engine assembled in Stuttgart. With a cubic capacity of 2 liters, it is equipped with a KKK turbo that delivers 170 hp. This is a very interesting model, especially the Turbo version.
The vehicle we present is a rare 1981 Turbo version with optional targa roof.
The combination of its checkerboard interior and white paintwork suits it perfectly. The test drive revealed a sound car with good mechanical performance.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most enviable versions of a legendary car from the 80s.
