2.0 L Targa Soft-Window SWB - Sonauto - Rare Sportomatic - Concours Restoration - Matching Numbers - Warranty

This 2.0 L Targa soft-window Porsche was delivered new in France, by Sonauto, on 18 April 1968. It is one of the rare short-wheelbase (SWB) Targas, fitted with the marque's 130 hp (2.0 L) engine. Our example is fitted with its original Sportomatic gearbox.

Fully restored by Porsche Toulouse in 2020, a file of over €60,000 in invoices will be provided with the car. During this restoration, it is important to note that:

the engine was fully restored,
the Sportomatic gearbox was fully restored and works well,
the running gear was restored, as well as the complete braking system,
all consumables are new.

Originally Bahama Yellow, this 2.0 received a full repaint in a beautiful grey colour. The cabin (carpets, seats and Targa top) was redone by the previous owner in 2018. The rear soft window has been replaced with a fixed glass window.

In 2025 and 2026, the car benefited from €5,000 of additional work:

Tyre replacement,
Brake overhaul – calipers, pads, master cylinder,
Speedometer cable replacement,
Oil cooler replacement,
Cosmetic work.

It is rare to find a classic 911 in such a state of restoration and presentation.
