Description

The Porsche 911 3.3 Turbo Coupé offered for sale here was delivered to its first owner, a German living in the USA, on January 27, 1986. Until the year 1995 at 40,411 miles, the 911 was checkbook maintained by Porsche. In subsequent years, workshop invoices were kept and the checkbook continued to be handwritten. In 2017, the vehicle was imported to Germany. The mileage tachometer was demonstrably replaced with a new mileage tachometer at 97,139 miles. Since then, the vehicle has been moved only 3,120 km, resulting in a documented total mileage of 159,450 km.

Through regular maintenance and careful hands, the 930 Turbo is now in beautiful original condition. Except for a repaint on the rear left fender as well as the mirrors, headlight rings and side skirts, it is completely in its original paint. Features include a power sunroof, power seats, a power right side mirror, and gray beige leather upholstery. In addition, a "steam wheel" was installed, with which the boost pressure can be increased.

Technically, the Porsche is in impeccable condition, thanks to regular maintenance there is no repair backlog. Visually the paintwork is in good condition, the interior has a nice patina with no damage. A great original example that can still keep up with more modern cars thanks to its driving performance.

History of the series
------------------------
The 911 is considered the epitome of the Porsche brand. The "original model" appeared in 1963 and set new standards in the sports car sector. In 1972, new regulations from the U.S. Driving Safety Authority necessitated the first major revision, resulting in the distinctive feature of the G model - the bumpers with elastic impact absorbers. In October 1974, the time had finally come: Porsche built its first production sports car with an exhaust gas turbocharger, and they were able to draw on their experience from racing, as a turbocharged engine had already been used in the Porsche 917/30 in 1971. However, the Type 930 was not the first production car with a turbo; BMW had already beaten them to it in the fall of 1973 with the 2002 Turbo.

Until 1977, the 911 Turbo was available as a 3.0 liter with 260 hp. When the call for a more powerful version grew louder, Porsche launched the 3.3 liter with 300 hp in 1978. Externally, the 3.3 is recognizable by its larger rear wing, which makes room for the intercooler and provides more intake air thanks to the larger rubber lip.

With an acceleration of 5.2 s from 0-100 km/h and a top speed of around 250 km/h, the 3.0 liter was Germany's fastest sports car for a long time. Starting in 1984, the 3.3 also had the option of having the engine power boosted to over 330 hp by a factory performance upgrade (WLS). In addition, "normal" 911s with naturally aspirated engines could be converted to the turbo look (WTL) at Porsche, as well as rebuilt as a flat-bed based on the Porsche 935 race car.
